Brookdale Senior Living Robot Demo

At the senior living center, we brought last year’s robot and presented it to the residents there. Many of them were curious and excited to see how the robot worked since they had never seen one up close before. We let them try controlling it, answered their questions, and explained what FIRST Robotics is — how teams like ours design, build, and program robots to complete different challenges. We also talked about the teamwork and problem-solving that go into every part of our project. Throughout the visit, we made sure to show gracious professionalism and responsibility while representing our team and inspiring the residents with what technology can do.
